We really enjoy having veterinary students at Bainbridge Vets Ltd.
We welcome applications for EMS from enthusiastic students in their clinical years of training who are interested in a forward thinking mixed practice.
We do have a regular stream of students – the practice has been involved in some FAVS talks and run student workshops at conferences.
Students seeing practice get involved in the full spectrum of our work. Whilst we will try and accommodate particular interests we like students who are keen to get involved in all aspects of routine and emergency work, spanning the species. There are a lot of transferable skills in veterinary medicine that you learn from mixed practice
We ask students to email us here in the first instance detailing what sort of work they’d like to see with us, when they’d be interested in coming.
Although we do not provide accommodation at the practice we can assist you in finding a suitable place to stay. Generally a car is a significant advantage, but we can cope with students without their own transport.
