Magical things happen Bainbridge Vets Limited we brought Monty in yesterday for his post op check up, saw a crate of Labrador puppies in for microchipping, 3 hours later we bought a puppy, say hello to Stanley, another puppy for you all to spoil and a playmate for Monty.

He'll have those memories for life - 50 years ago I was that little boy stood on a box, watching my dad (David Metcalfe), when Bainbridge vets operating theater was in a room at the back of Ian Tallentires' garage at The Grange, before moving up to Couplesfield in the 80's. Happy times 😊

And thank you so much for operating on Sheldon the guinea pig yesterday to remove a huge tumour from his face. Despite it being Christmas, he was operated on without delay and is recovering well at home. Superb vets x

We would like to wish all our clients and patients a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2026.

Rest assured we cover all of our own out of hours emergencies so if you need us in an emergency and ring our usual number you will come through to one of our helpful team

Our opening hours are :
Christmas Eve- 8:30-3pm
Christmas Day - Emergencies only
Boxing Day- Emergencies only
Saturday 27th -8:30-12
Sunday 28th - emergencies only
Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th open as normal
New Year's eve- 8:30-3pm
